Eddy Merckx Carbon 1XM Frameset
Over 100 layers of various grades of carbon fiber are used in the construction of the 1XM frame

Handmade using T700 and UTS M40 fibers for strength, rigidity and elasticity K210 aramid fibers are used for their dampening properties
Carbon fiber full monocoque front triangle bonded to carbon fiber rear stays
The Eddy Merckx Alu Cross is?crafted?from Easton 7020 double-butted aluminum, the prefect material for a cross between mountain and road. It’s larger tubes and mud clearance make the Alu Cross one of the best cyclocross frames for the money. This frame conquers the roads and the mountains.? The Cross comes with a 1-1/8″ carbon cross fork.
The Marcelo represents the best compromise between performance and comfort. The constant diameter chain and seat stays elevate the transfer of energy from the pedals to the wheel. Columbus heat treated low alloy steel
The Galileo is a reliable, high performance bike that comes race ready. Built with a triple-butted Dedacciai 7005 T6 frame and an ONDA carbon fiber fork and carbon fiber seat stays. The team at Pinarello created a bike with the Italian crafting at an affordable price. You’ll love the way this bike rides - it’s fast, smooth and a solid ride true to the tradition of the master builders at Pinarello
All of the carbon fibre Pinarello bicycles use full monocoque construction as opposed to the ?classic? type that is glued together. A monocoque frame does not use lugs that inevitably weaken and lead to frame failure. Monocoque construction ensures maximum stability, maximum reaction to force and maximum rigidity compared to classic glued or taped carbon fibre frames.
The ultimate bang for your buck - the Aedon uses the highest-end technology?for this frame without reflecting that in the price tag. The heart and soul of the Aedon is its tubing construction. It’s made from Dedacciai’s “HF” hydroformed aluminum. You’re probably familiar with hydroforming: It’s what Pinarello uses on it’s highest end aluminum frameset, the Paris. And it’s what DeRosa uses on their premium-quality aluminum frameset, the Merak. Dedacciai takes their lightweight aluminum tubes and places them in a mold. They pump the tubes with extremely high-pressure gas, which forces them to take the shape of the mold. This process gives the frameset more durability than a standard drawn tube, while giving it stiffness that approaches what you feel when you ride a carbon frame
